Between Rowen and Nick, the two have spent decades travelling the world, honing their craft and captivating audiences with their music. Rowen—formerly of Ten Strings and Goat Skin and now a member of Maukin—has earned recognition from Music PEI, the ECMAs, the Canadian Folk Music Awards, and the JUNOs for his songwriting and genre-bending violin style.
Nick, trained at the renowned College of Piping here on Prince Edward Island, has performed across the United Kingdom and North America on bagpipes, Irish whistles, flutes, and uilleann pipes. His speed, precision, and creativity continue to amaze audiences worldwide. Together, Rowen and Nick make up two fourths of the award-winning nouveau-trad firestorm Maukin.
