STRUM
In 2006, a group of singers/musicians from West Prince met weekly at O’Leary United Church for jam sessions and fellowship. This was the origin of STRUM, a group of 12 friends who love to play gospel, contemporary and folk music. While most play acoustic guitar, other instruments include bass guitar, mandolin, keyboard, harmonica, tambourine, bongo drum, and shakers.
Although presenting fewer concerts than in earlier years, STRUM still performs for special occasions, and their love of music continues. Members of STRUM include: Pat Arsenault, Rick Cameron, Alan Casely, Bonnie Fraser, Fran Frost, Claudette Getson, Eldon Hardy, Dwight Kirkham, Michelle Lewis, Norma MacNeill, Gary Morgan, and Aldene Smallman.
