Small Halls is coming to Orwell with a double-header that will delight and ignite. Emilea May (Emily MacLellan) is an emerging PEI singer-songwriter whose music and lyrics hit deep with themes of love, life and motherhood. From a long line of musicians in the MacLellan family, the Music PEI nominated artist has a natural gift for storytelling and a crystalline voice that will win you over in an instant. Accompanied by the multi-talented Justin Thyme. Joining them is the fiery sister duo Cassie & Maggie from Nova Scotia. They’ve shared their talents all over the world, are Juno-nominated, and have 17 Canadian Folk Music, East Coast Music Award and Nova Scotia Music Award nominations to date. Putting their 21st century stamp on the Celtic tradition, the pair share piano, guitar, fiddle, voice and step dancing for a high-energy show that will leave you on an upswing.
