Songwriting is on display this Saturday night in Milton. This double bill features
Indigenous singer-songwriter Joe H Henry, named ‘one of the brightest new lights on the East Coast music scene’. With his signature storytelling and voice as powerful as a freight train, this ECMA and Music Nova Scotia nominated artist makes his Small Halls debut. Sharing the stage is Lucy Farrell and Catherine MacLellan. Daughter of Gene MacLellan (Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame), music lives on in Catherine’s family, earning multiple awards, including a JUNO through her illustrious career. From Kent, UK, Lucy Farrell is an honorary islander. The 2017 BBC 2 Folk Award Winner is a sophisticated songwriter at the forefront of contemporary folk. Together, with Catherine, they bring their touring duo show to Small Halls. Come on out to Milton Melodies!
